Sneaky tips and tricks you need to know pt 1

We always see these on pinterest. But maybe you haven't seen one. Or maybe you aren't on pinterest, but these things NEED seeing. Because some of them are so genius. We look at them and say DUH. And then sometimes they change your life. Or make it easier. So check it out. These are all courtesy of pinterest. If you have some of your own, please link them too!

Use a dust pan under the faucet to pour water into
a bucket that won't fit in your sink.

Pour one cup of vinegar into a glass
measuring cup and microwave on high
for three minutes. Steam cleans your
microwave and wipes easily.

A lock on your scissors can help keep the kids
stay out of trouble (like cutting their own hair!)

Ice cubes on indents in your carpeting
left behind from furniture. Let the cubes
melt and the marks are gone.

Dip popsicle sticks in paint when you paint/redecorate so
you always have an easy and portable paint chip pallet
to bring with when trying to match paint or decor.

Use over the door hanging
rack to create a gift wrapping
organization area.

Use newspaper over your bed to keep weeds
from coming up. Easier than fabric if you
want to redesign the bed and degrades
in about 18 months.
*Does anyone know if regular plants we WANT
can still come up through this and when is the
best time to do it? I want to do this!*

Cut up pieces of Magic Eraser.
Leave one in your toilet bowl over
night and ta-da, no more toilet ring!

Ipod on a glass to help acoustics and make it sound more
like a larger stereo. This totally works, I do this in the kitchen
each night while I cook dinner :)

Cling wrap on fridge shelves contain the mess and when it's
dirty, peel it off and start again with a fresh sheet. Genius!

Place cake pop on top of unmelted candy melt piece
to give them a flat bottom and help them stand upright.

Use masking or painting tape to measure distance between
nail holes and place tape onto wall for perfect marking!

Keep a scrubber filled with water and vinegar and water in your shower and
wipe it off while you're in the shower. It will always be clean in there!

Hope you find these helpful, because I know I do! The vinegar in the microwave and ipod/phone in the cup are new things that I have worked into my way of doing things.
