A mashup for the week

I've got lots of things to tell you, so it's going to be kind of a mash-up of news today :)

First off Mekius is in London. This is his second day there and he'll be home tomorrow. The kids, myself and  my nerves are very excited for this. We'll be tracking his flight back home and counting down the minutes until he gets home. The interview(s) went well. It sounds like he got answers to A LOT (like a ton) of my burning questions. Now we wait for the offer. He mostly ate burgers. I only told him no fish and chips. Not until I get to have some too :D But really, could have had ANYTHING else. Oh, did have Chinese though..

He doesn't have an accent yet, I did ask. And apparently his friend doesn't watch Doctor Who (I do NOT approve of) and he hasn't seen anything Doctor Who related. ALTHOUGH I did HEAR the Tardis today, but it ended up just being my cell phone. Sometimes I wish I had a hidden camera, to capture me on film when my phone rings. Sometimes I get so involved in something, or I'm so out of it, that I do this slow turn with wide eyes like, 'he's come for me!' When in all reality it's like the cable company, trying to get me to upgrade.

Was I going somewhere with this??

Ohhhh. Right. He said it's really just like a big US. They even have a KFC.

This coming Thursday, August 9 I will be co-hosting the Mommy Brain Mixer. I'll have an awesome post for all of you dedicated to my bright Sunny and documenting her ALMOST 6 years of awesomeness that have led us up to our first day of Kindergarten. I'll also share with you some of my 365 project (with a twist) and share some excerpts of that with you. Also coming this week, will be a top ten list of Doctor Who inspired home decor I plan (dream) of using in our imaginary house in London (which may become LESS imaginary and MORE real as the days pass, so be sure to check for updates on Job gate 2012!)
