I am posting this tester review in conjunction with 200 likes on the Crunchy Chic facebook page, for which she is doing a giveaway. Please know that as a friend of hers, I did try to do my testing and product review in an unbiased manner.
Shipping: Super fast, like I hadn’t even started checking the tracking fast.
Packaging: Held up well through shipping
Product packaging, cute little bottle, will be fun to re-use. No label, as per specified because it’s a tester.
First impression pre-use: Smell AHMAZING.
Tea tree and orange blossom fizzy foot soak
After a few days of this jar of foot soak sitting next to my computer, I finally cracked it open the other night along with my foot bath. The scent has been taunting me for days, I love opening it up and getting a whiff of it. It smells good enough to taste! Just a disclaimer, it does NOT taste as good as it looks :P
I added a little bit at first, but it seemed like the scent would die out after a few minutes. I finally got to about ¾ of the bottle and finally got the scent to stick around. It was worth it because the smell is so uplifting and it was nice to just relax and soak with the smell of oranges in the air. The packaging was plain, which I knew to expect because it was a tester. I like the idea of a refill in a bag instead of wasting another jar. The one thing that might be a nice improvement is to include a small scoop (maybe tied to the jar with a ribbon) for the initial jar order.
reviewing of this product.
Appearance 9/10
Appeal 10/10
Shipping 10/10
Lasting power 7/10
Value 8/10
Total 44/50 = 88% = B+ which is think is a pretty darn good grade.
The appearance I gave a 9/10 because of no label/instructions which I knew after she sent it would not have those included. I gave it 10/10 for appeal because I could not stop sticking my nose in it. Shipping got a 10/10 because I was seriously impressed. I had not even thought to check the tracking before it showed up, it was so fast.
Packaging was great too; jar was in great shape no crack or anything. I gave the lasting power a 6/10 because it took A LOT (3/4 of the jar) to get the scent to stick. I used this in a standard in home foot bath (by Dr Scholls) and maybe used 1-1.5 gallons water. Value got a 6/10 for the same reason, because I don’t have much left, so in essentiality it cost $5 for on soak. I would recommend a heavier scent concentration, which would help the jar last on two occasions, for a much better value of $2.50 each.
