This post is LONG overdue, but I finally have the pictures scanned, his magical spells have finally worn off and the drooling has stopped long enough for me to sit over a keyboard and rehash it.
On July 23 I made the drive out to my brother's house to spend the weekend with him and my sister in law. This was my belated birthday weekend/celebration/gift. My sister in law and I waited in line for 4.5 hours. We got in line about 6pm and the line was wrapped almost all the way around the building. We had tickets for 9pm and once we realized we were not going to make it without leaving the line (gasp) she popped on her handy dandy iPhone and bought tickets for the 11:30pm.
We made friends in line, and we braved the July heat from through sundown. Once we got inside it was a lot easier and the anticipation was crazy. We finally made it to the front, we handed them our photos, they helf our purses and I engaged Tom Felton in conversation while he signed the photos. We did not get the blank look and smile, nod goodbye like everyone before did (they were rushing people through, it was almost 11).
This is how the conversation went....
Me: Thank you so much for doing this, I can't imagine how tired you are after standing here doing this all day.
Tom: You're a sweetheart! It's no problem, I'm happy to be here ::he smiles:: I am now a gooey puddle of awesome on the floor
Me: We missed our 9 o'clock show so we bought new tickets and we're heading in about an hour to see it, I can't wait.
Tom: Are you seeing it for the first time?
Me: Nods adoringly
Tom: Well bless your h'art (spoken in super British accent) I hope you guys enjoy it!
Me: Thank you (twitter patted)
Then he put his arms around us (around my waist, there was squeezing) then I died.
Coral had this look on her face the entire time like she wanted to couch his hair. It was epic.
