Ooooohhh two consecutive days, talk about a winning streak!
I have to say that this morning I purchased a large moleskine notebook at Barnes & Noble and started my project for Thing 1. It was just the first letter, why I'm doing it etc. and I have already cried. SUPER!
Anyways today I am writing to tell you about a different project that a friend of mine is starting. She has a Madeline doll that has sentimental meaning for her daughter and her late Mother and she is sending her on a journey. Madeline will be flying to Colorado and will start her journey in Rocky Mountain National Park in just a few days. Madeline will be left out in the open with a note, encouraging some loving stranger to bring her with on their adventures. My friend is hoping to start Madeline on a journey, with someone leaving her in a new place with the same note, and maybe even an addition. She would love to see Madeline see the world, sending pictures and letter along the way. I think this is a wonderful idea and so much more touching than dollar bill trackers.
